Younger Military Families Quietly Closing Ranks Around Obama
"Any assumption that the military vote is overwhelmingly in favor of the Republican Party -- based on demographics alone -- is suspect," said retired Navy Capt. Don Inbody. Enlisted personnel mirror the general population, which could result in a 2:1 advantage for Obama in military communities if his campaign isn't "tone deaf" to the potential. (6 clicks)

The Adler Planetarium and McCain's Fake War on Earmarks
I was disappointed when [Obama] failed to jump on McCain for the Adler Planetarium smear. The Adler Planetarium slur reveals both the slovenly nature of the McCain campaign's opposition research as well as the cynical and tone-deaf disconnect from reality. This is a high-tech scientific educational project, not an entertainment device. (9 clicks)

Announcing the Accountability Now 2010 Primary Project
When I moved to Washington DC I did it for one purpose -- I wanted to understand the culture that made our elected leaders so responsive to corporate interests, and so deaf to the interests of their constituents. John McCain’s tone deaf campaign
When it comes to the economy, McCain has no solutions and no message. If he doesn’t get those two things right, it doesn’t matter if Barack Obama served on a charity board with Mohammed Atta, it’s not going to save McCain’s campaign. (14 clicks)
